Carnival Paradise vs Carnival Miracle

Today, I will walk you through the pros and cons of both the Carnival Paradise and Carnival Miracle. I had the opportunity to do what they call in the travel space as a “Ship Inspection,” which is a fancy way of saying a ship tour/review. Both of these ships currently debark from Tampa, Florida. Parking in and around the cruise port is plentiful and can accommodate both short and long-term parking. If you are flying into Tampa International Airport the distance to Tampa Cruise Port is approximately 20 minutes or just under 10 miles. If you are asking why to debark from Tampa, Florida here fare a few reasons: You have access to Key West, Eastern and Western Caribbean, and the East coast of Mexico. Okay, so let's dive into the ships Pros and Cons!

Carnival Paradise

Has the unusual distinction of being a recently renovated Carnival ship. The renovations included the addition of balconies and upgraded restaurants (i.e., Guy's Burger and Blue Iguana) The Carnival Paradise has made steps to take their overall cruise experience to the next level. Understanding the total value of the cruise can be a unique estimate when considering the Visas and the shore excursions needed for Cuba.

Pros

-Renovated in early 2018

-Travels to Cuba

-Revamped slides and kids area.

-Updated Food Options

Cons

-The overall size of the Ship

-No consistent WOW factor

Carnival Miracle

In contrast, the Carnival Miracle is a younger ship that has not been renovated since 2015. Even though Carnival Miracle was built in 2003, it has taken a pounding from the onslaught of individuals/families traveling over the years. Something unique and cool about Carnival’s Miracle ship is over eighty percent of their staterooms have an ocean view. Also, the ship has an adult only area which includes a bar, hot tub, copious amounts of out lounge chairs and hammocks.
